Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michelle (Lisa Kudrow) have been through it all including being tortured by the Popular crowd when in high school. When they receive word of a ten-year reunion, they realise their lives aren’t as impressive as they’d like them to be. Instead of staying home they go to the reunion with business outfits, cell phones, and one heck of a bogus success story.
Cue flashbacks and an alternative future where the once best friends have fallen out and can not make it up even when Romy is on her deathbed.
Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michele (Lisa Kudrow) appear aged in a brief dream sequence in the movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.
Kevin Haney was responsible for the makeups which were better than they appear here (the heavy backlighting was the problem in getting decent images).
The character makeup was designed and supervised by Kevin Haney; Susan A Cabral was the key makeup artist; Collier Strong was the makeup artist for Lisa Kudrow & Mira Sorvino.
