Godefroy le Hardi & Jacquouille find themselves in Revolutionary France. Laughs do not ensue as a talented cast go through the motions with apparent indifference.
As usual Godfroy encounters Montmirail descendants: in this case Adélaïde de Montmirail & wannabe-Chouan Victoire-Églantine de Montmirail. In Paris they also meet Robespierre’s sister, Charlotte Robespierre (Sylvie Testud) before ending up in Occupied France where they encounter maquisard Geneviève Carraud Robespierre (Sylvie Testud).
Gabriela Polakova was the chief makeup artist for the movie.
Emmanuel Pitois & René Stejskal were responsible for the special makeup effects and prosthetics.
