hairless: Cosas insignificantes

Cosas insignificantes

Cosas insignificantes is a not entirely successful ensemble piece of intersecting lifes in Mexico City linked by apparently trivial things – the sort of thing Robert Altman or Alejandro González Iñárritu did so well in Short Cuts and Amores perros.

Paola (Barbara Mori) is a rich mother with a sick child who sacrifices her hair in solidarity with the effects of the chemotherapy – unlike Cameron Diaz in My Sister’s Keeper Barbara Mori cut her hair for real, on camera.

The makeup

Lalo Gómez was the chief makeup artist and hair stylist; Lourdes Delgado was the hair department head.
