After Joseph had been sold into slavery in Egypt and he became the personal servant to Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh’s guard, and was then promoted to oversee Potiphar's entire household as a superintendent. But while serving in Potiphar’s household Potiphar’s wife, Zuleika (Amanda Donohue), became infatuated with Joseph. When he refused her demands she alleged that he alleged that he had tried to rape her and Joseph was thrown into prison.
