Old-age: Prefontaine

This movie is based on the life of American Olympic hopeful Steve Prefontaine, a long distance runner who died in a car crash before the Olympics where he may well have won gold. The story is punctuated with flash-forward reminiscences from people who knew him including his mother Elfriede (Lindsay Crouse), his lover Nancy (Amy Locane) and an ex-girlfriend Elaine (Laurel Holloway).

The makeups by Bill Corso were quite effective especially showing the early-twenties to late-thirties progression for Nancy and Elaine.
