Un secret
A French Jewish family that escaped the holocaust – at least partially – by hiding in Vichy France and converting to catholicism has a secret. The film hops between pre-War France, the 1950s and the mid-1980s – when the adult son finally confronts his father about the past. Most of the film is in flashback and convention is reversed in using black & white for the ‘now’ rather than the flashbacks.
