This Korean movie is based on a Chinese novel and tells the story of a man in post-war Korea who sells his blood to support his family.
Eun-hye Yoon appears in a cameo role as Im Boon-bang – the cheerful, chubby village girl who the main character had once thought was more beautiful than his wife-to-be.
The director, Ha Jung Woo, said in an interview:
Although the character, Im Boon Bang may belong to someone chubby and be of an easygoing image, I offered the role to Yoon Eun Hye who looks nothing like the character. She gracefully accepted the offer. Even though the her appearance in the film is short, I’d like to give her big applause for being flexible and facing the new challenge as an actress.
I have no information on the makeup credits for this Korean movie.
