In the episode ‘Indian Takers’ (2013), disgusted by her family’s greed and callousness and discovering that she is adopted, Lindsay Bluth Fünke reads Eat, Pray, Love and decides to visit India on ‘a spiritual journey to let go of all possessions – and to find something cute to keep her stuff in’.

While there she consults Shaman Sheman who tells Lindsay to find love in her own home. The Shaman is, of course, Maeby Fünke (Alia Shawkat)  in disguise – Lindsay’s own accomplished con-artist daughter.
