Aliens among us: Andromeda

I wasn’t not a great fan of Andromeda – neither the plot nor the makeups: it was just one of those bottom drawer proposals that should never have been resurrected, especially so long after it was conceived.

I would, however, like to make clear that I’ve nothing against the makeup people who’ve worked on it – they’ve done talented work elsewhere – but here they seem to be hampered by low production values and lack of ambition from the producers.

Francesca von Zimmerman was the key makeup artist; Ryan Nicholson was the prosthetic designer; Toby Lindala was the key makeup effects artist (season 5); Rachel Griffin, Harlow MacFarlane and Christ Stanley were special makeup effects artists on various episodes of the show.
