The Stargate franchise includes a movie and three TV series but the best makeups are the Wraiths in Stargate: Atlantis.

In Atlantis an international team of scientists and military personnel discover a Stargate network in the Pegasus Galaxy and come face-to-face with a new, powerful enemy. Leah Ehman is makeup department head; Todd Masters (MastersFX) is responsible for special effects makeup; Nicholas Podbrey is special effects makeup coordinator; Céline Godeau is key prosthetic supervisor.

Leah Ehman and Todd Masters were nominated for the Gemini Award for Best Achievement in Makeup in 2005 for the Stargate: Atlantis episode ‘Before I Sleep’.
