Various vampires

The female vampire comes in many forms from the strangly alluring to the downright revolting but they usually have pointy teeth.

In the late 1990s Buffy the Vampire Slayer redefined our view of how vampires should look and for a while those brows became de rigueur, but then along came Twilight and made them pretty and maudling.

Some of the images may be a little iffy – these ladies only come out at night.
