Cléopâtre (Monica Bellucci) tells Julius Caesar that her people are still great, even if the times of the Pharaohs has long passed. To prove it she wagers that she can build him a new palace within three months.
Unfortunately, all her best architects are either too busy or too conservative in style so Edifis gets the dubious honour; if he is successful he will be rewarded but if he fails he will be fed to the crocodiles.
In desperation Edifis calls in a favour from his old friend Getafix, who turns up accompanied by Astérix & Obélix. Chaos ensues.
Turid Follvick, Muriel Baurens & Khalid Alami were the key makeup artists; Christophe Danchaud was the key makeup artist (Cléopâtre).
